I am Jereel "Jexion" Mirondo - a self-learning Filipino Artist working as a freelancer. My Inspirations are fantasy theme like Tolkien, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Witcher, Final Fantasy, Marvel and Anime. My art style is painterly-realism with focus on figurative characters and lighting.
Currently, I am accepting personal and commercial art commissions/projects.
If you would like to work with me, please send me an e-mail here.
Here are some of my favorite artists who inspires me on a daily basis: Greg Rutkowski, Even Amundsen, Anato Finnstark, Brian Valeza, Bryan Sola, Anna Podedworna, Wang Ling (WLOP), Gu Zheng Wei (Guweiz) and many more! In the Old Masters, it's Sargent, Sorolla, Monet and Remington!
My art goal is to push the limits of the world of fantasy art as well as to contribute in it. I also aim to knock at the door of Wizards of the Coast and hope that my artwork is seen in a MTG card or a page in D&D book! :)
Below is a little story about my art career.

When I was a kid, I always love to draw and my inspirations back then were Anime, Marvel Comics and Video Game characters. Most of my childhood artworks went missing and the picture to the left were some of it that remains. Later, I learned to play Magic: The Gathering and always admire the artworks of those cards.
But I stopped my drawing hobby and instead, focused first on studies and graduated a college degree in BS Information Technology. I pursued my IT Career for a while and decided to change my career after the COVID-19 pandemic started.
The picture to the left were some of my charcoal drawings I made as a hobby during my IT Career.
(2019) After leaving the company, I started first as a Graphic Designer creating logos, banner and templates. Then I got that one commission which was to draw a cartoon character as a logo. I did that digital drawing using only my phone and stylus and made me realize that - maybe I should get back to drawing?

The picture to the left were some of the logos I created back then.
Next to it, was the logo drawing of characters - this had a big factor of me deciding to go for digital drawing/artworks.
(2020) I asked some friends and families on how to get started and finally got my first XP Pen drawing tablet, which I am using until now, and started to draw using Photoshop. I knew immediately that I was lacking the fundamentals, knowledge and skills - that's when I started studying online art courses.
The images to the left were some of the projects I made in the online classes I took.
(2021) I started to build my portfolio by doing personal artworks. I decided to go for fantasy theme. At this time, I always love the theme of Tolkien and Magic: The Gathering - which both led me to Dungeons & Dragons.
An elf, a dwarf and a triton was my starter kit.
(2021) After posting my digital artworks in Facebook Groups, I finally got my first ever fantasy art commission - The Silver Dragonborn Rogue. It was my game changer and as I moved forward, I started getting more D&D art commissions. Up until now, I love drawing these fantasy themed artworks as if I am in its world.
In my art career, I am not yet at my peak - I continue to study art. I still have a lot to learn which led me back to study traditional art - which I will post soon! So watch out for it!
If you made it this far, THANK YOU for your time and I hope you enjoy reading my story.
And please, stay away from AI Generated Images.
Thanks Again!
Your Artist,
JEXION
